He probably wants to paint spoilers, hoods etc with different colours and paint types

We can't even paint a spoiler with vinyls, because it copies and lay down onto car's body. That's although why there's no "full painted" sportcars.

Paint separate body parts would be nice, it would also save some time (For example, painting only the hood black instead of using shape vinyl), but I believe it would be hard to make it happen, after all... gta engine is old
