Hi guys, I want to make a circuit race for nfssa, and I have a 2 questions I couldn't find an answer to in other threads:

One of the things I wondered was if tracks need to be fully closed by invisible walls and arrow barriers or not, because I have a particular part of the circuit, where two parts of the track are right next to eachother and can't think of an elegant solution to stop people from just jumping from one road to another and gaining a big advantage. I don't want to put a fully opaque wall there and most of the other flat objects are only transparent on one side. Here's a picture of what that part of the track looks like:

The other thing is putting arrow walls on roads, that are either decending or acending. I thought of just using a 2x high flat arrow wall or maybe using a barrier with an invisible wall behind it, but I just wanted to know what techniques people with experience use.
u don't need to put here anything, checkpoints will prevent from shortcuting

Admins will put the checkpoints where needed, right?
Although checkpoints will disallow it, a physical barrier should be better to avoid dissapointment from retarded people who will try cutting the track.
In this case, i would just use invisible walls. You can literally any use object and set it's scale to 0 (the collision remains the same, changing object transparency doesn't work properly).

Yeah, thanks. Smile
I was working on the track and I wondered how you'd remove lamp posts and stuff, can you just do it through the "remove world objects" function in the map editor?
Yes you can use that, although that does not work on every object. Those object which doesn't will require some special treatment to remove. You can google it up later.
I'm back on this thread..
I just wanted to ask if somebody knows what vehicle models are replaced by BJ Police, VC Banshee Police Cruiser and Uranus Police Cruiser in nfssa? I've seen a couple of tracks that use those models in their tracks and wanted to use them as well.
