As the subject says. It'd be great to hear various engine sounds depending on setup/tunning. Such a feature existed since NFS UG1 I believe.

I find this offensive tho. Yes, I do and I do not notice any difference. Atleast in SUVs, E,D and C classes.
My mistake, i was wrong.

By the way. I've checked it like twice, upgrading and downgrading the Sultan's engine to pro level and street level. There were no differences at all. If you meant turbo, then yes, it gives the car a beautiful sound, as every car maniac loves loud Turbo system. I think the idea is still actual.
Too hard to implement though.
In UG2 it was simple, at certain performance tuning the sound switches to a different sound. This however means twice as many sound samples (currently we have 23 sound types if I'm not mistaken). That equals to another at least 50 hours of work (there's a lot of editing to be done and finding suitable sound recordings is usually difficult as well).

nope.
Well, actually the turbo blow-off sound changes with the different stages wich is kinda cool.
I just would prefer to rework a few already existing sounds, most of them sound really good but super gt for example has a kinda bad transmission if i remember right.
