What if car sound will depend on type of engine (v6, v8 etc.), exhaust system and tuning?
V6 with smallest exhaust will sound like Honda Civic and tuned V12 will sound like F1 race car.
For example, Manana will have V6 and Washington will have V8 (cause Manana is small and Washington is big as bus)
Sultan will have opposite 4, like Subaru Impreza WRX from 2000-s.
We're not a full-on game developer group. It would require our own car recordings, which no-one of us would bother doing.
Even if we add some kind of a filter to existing sounds applied only when the engine is tuned, the sound changes will never sound as good as in UG2 for example, in fact they would sound terrible.
Anways, sound already depends on the engine which the car has, so I don't know what are you talking about in the first sentence.
Most of our current cars have engine sounds based on the engines that are used in their real life versions.

Well, they sounds really similar. Like if there is one sound that came through filters.
But i get it. Nvm.
Maybe if you're using basic laptop speakers then they can sound similiar. But all of them are completely different.
I can clearly hear the difference, lol.
