Hey, don't be checking on my anus without me knowing like that! I'm a shy and sensible guy...
But thanks!

Lots of trial and error and youtube for help... The hardest part is memorize what each button and key combo does. After that, it gets a bit easier to just do your thing, and by that, I mean connecting dots, which is basically what I do. I still have to figure out the rest of the program, and the proper way to texture a model, which, for GTA, is something a bit more specific and difficult to find a tutorial of on Youtube.
3D modeling is not easy to start, it's quite a lot to learn. I think it will take me a few years of experience to start calling Blender "home".
I only started learning Blender itself February this year, if I'm not mistaken, but I already had some experience from before with other programs.
I also used to model Garry's Mod stuff back in the day. 3D Logos and playermodels and shit. I first used a program called "Milk" or something, atleast its Icon was a Milk Shaped one.. Also tried Blender but it was too complicated for me. After a while of trying, and successfully posting 2 shit playermodels and 2 Logos i stopped modelling, it got too tiring and hard for me. I simply gave up Sad

That has nothing to do with the thread, but i kinda wanted to share my experience with modelling aswell. Please dont mind it.
I don't. I'm pretty talkative. Blender is quite hard to get the hang of, yes. Although others ain't any easier. ... Except Google SketchUp, but that program money grabbing crap. A hoax. It's very easy to learn, indeed, but, it's literally an incomplete program that depends on paid plugins to do simple functions that come stock with all the other modelers and CAD programs, free or not.
BTW, i found out the program i used was Milkshape 3D. Big Grin
Smart name. It makes me remember of Zmodeler. That's what I used many years ago.
(Back in the Windows XP days, I was working on an even lower poly version of GTA SA. I was editing every model and texture to be less heavy on the computer, as my computer at the time averaged 18 FPS at 800x600 res in GTA SA at the lowest graphics. Things have evolved, eh? Unfortunately, I lost that "modded" SA due to a corrupted hard drive. Months of effort gone, nearly killed myself, lol. Kinda gave up on making my own mods after that.)
I'm finally finished with Uranus! Past 2 AM right now, I am dead. xD
Updated the original post with the new spoiler. Uranus under Bodykits.
Still left the WIP spoiler for comparison's sake.
This bodykit has been problematic since the beginning. No problem though, Venom was finished with his Uranus bodykit way before me, so mine won't be used in this update, only Blista's will. Well, a modified by Venom version of it that I am still yet to see. Can't say if it's very different or not, so, no one can know what to expect.
Updated the status of Blista's bodykit.
I'd like to congratulate Venom for a job very well done. He textured the car so wonderfully it ended up looking better than what I was thinking, he duplicated and resized the headlight and backlight textures and everything, I was not expecting him to go into that sort of detail, kudos!
