Hello im here becuase i cant take it anymore, before comment please read everything. So the pursuit mode its an very "fun" and fast way to make rp BUT any cops no mather what lvl are to overpowerd because no mather what car you have they can keep up (please set top speed difrent from lvl to lvl for cops) all of them have a ramming power of a tank with v16 4 turbos and 2 superchagers, and also heavy as F**K. The only balance beetwen the cops lvl's are how much xray they got or how stupid they are. If you are a modder or you help with scripting dont take this post as a insult this is just an opinion of a player who really love this.
The biggest flaw of police pursuits is that, they rely too much on luck imo. For example, when you hit something, or even drive to a bump on a road, you can be accidentaly flipped over and land on your roof, then you have nothing to do, but to watch filling "busted" bar. As I've seen, NFSSA's pursuit system is heavily based on the 2005 Most Wanted's one, and when it works with original NFS physics, then on San Andreas is "meh".

The first bad thing is that, in MW you can feel cars being heavy and it's very hard to be flipped over, in San Andreas however cars are like cardboard boxes. Landing on roof or side of the car is a common thing, and it's often not predictable (police car bugs, lags, road bumps, invisible things sticking out from seemingly plain walls). The solution could be, making busted bar stop filling, when the car is flipped over and then reset.

Second bad thing is that, San Andreas map is not created for racing, especially high-speed pursuits with 20 cop cars. As I said earlier: Invisible things, bumps, not destroyable objects, pillars etc.

And third, I haven't got problem with cop cars following you when doing 400 km/h but making PIT maneuvers and sticking to rear bumper with that speed (cops are fans of bmw and audi) is annoying.

Don't get me wrong, pursuits are still very fun tho, but i would appreciate decreasing luck factor or even nerfing cops with reduction of reward.
Since PIT maneuvers and such are used in actual pursuits, they should stay. Pursuits should still kind of be a challenge. Its not suppossed to be a RP farm.
The cops got buffed in the last update to prevent people from farming tons or RP. As Nightmare already mentioned, it's supposed to be challenging and not too easy.

But I also have to agree that the system needs still a little bit of rework at some points. But we all shouldn't forget that it's GTA and not NFS, it's not easy to make a flawless police pursuit script, bartek is doing his best.

Maybe because they are smart and they saw you 2 seconds before how you were driving behind wall and they communicate each other and share this info?
Well, the speed of the cops should still get nerfed. A heat 1 cop should'nt be able to accelerate like a Hyper Car on full Nitro.
Performance of cop cars is automatically adjusted to your car performance to be able to properly chase with you, so don't be surprised if you test heat 1 with maxed A class car.
