Pearl color to have two paint options, first primary color coating, and secondary pearl color coating.
Carbon parts to have clear coat, so they can have pearl coating.
Vinyls visible on carbon parts, or just on hood.
Side mirror parts, or to paint them, couse some parts of vinyls are shown on mirrors.
Wow, those are some touchy subjects...
Long story short, only the vinyls on top of carbon parts part is likely to happen.
The rest is restricted by game engine limitations. If those are possible to implement or not, only a magician (AKA a developer) can tell you, but my bet is on "unlikely", specially the pearl paint.
Changing side mirrors... There is a way those can work, but who even sees them? When you're racing or in freeroam, a side mirror is like 5 pixels big... :/
About the UV map of the side mirror itself, that is not my area, but, if they did it that way and can't even fix the problem about the vinyls not being symmetrical, then I guess they can't do much about it? They could map the mirrors to like a third color, dunno?
I wouldnt like to see vinyls on top of carbon parts.. I only buy carbon hoods etc. when a vinyl on the side or the roof of the car glitches onto the hood
Yeah, I do that too, but nothing says it can't be toggleable.
Usually what you want to put on a carbon bonnet is actually more like decals rather than vinyls...
Something like Eastsiders Skyline hood.
