Co-Op Pursuit Race

Like in NFS: World
You and some friends / random people get in a lobby with a race like a normal sprint (limit 2km lenght) and there are cops heat 3-4 following you and you need to finish the race without being busted.
Roadblock
Rhino(s)

Just like a normal pursuit but better!

Any more suggestions?
It's not the good car, it's the good driver!

That might be great, but 2km limit? be generous pls, 3km c'mon xD
But i (and many people, i'm sure) love the idea <3

rly ? we have normal race and we have in certain predetermined locations blockade only missing to police cars were driving for players
the problem is that the police follow only one player?

How about Co-op pusuits, not in a sprint, but in general. Just putting both players into the same dimension and setting them as a second target for the police to follow and ram

Edit: or adding a mode where one player can be a cop that is just driving in a police car that can't do damage to the police, but ram the other player / the suspect to help the police. About the power of the police car, either make his police car powerful af so it's like the AI, or give him a class A car with police vinyls (only for the race/mode)

i like more the option with the pursuit race but it works co-op pursuit too

It's hard to explain but there are huge proper synchronization problems (and low performance which comes with it) which make it almost impossible to make multiplayer police pursuits with AI.

i understand but it gotta be a way no?

It is but it's too complicated and totally not worthful of work. Moreover, results wouldn't be as we can except - lags, latency and generally low performance.

Go play multiplayer to play in singleplayer pursuits mode. Fuck logic.
