Balance multiplayer race rewards (hotfix included)

1. Multiplayer is not a place where you should progress quickly, no matter what the game genre is (this is even written in F9, but oh wait, you didn't even try to read it);
2. The rewards are PERFECTLY FINE as they are right now.

(Souls series' games are not hard if you know what you're doing, same applies here)

Remind me how you get to "know what youre doing"? Oh thats right, by dying a milion times at the same spot. Thats so much fun...Besides, what I meant was that souls-like games are not meant for everyone, but rather for the patient hardcore players. Casuals are never gonna play and complete it. NFS on the other hand has always been available to everyone.

As for the other thing, just go play The Crew 1. You finish the story and get max level in a week or so, but you will still be playing even a year after that easily and not even get bored. There are many things to grind and lots of PVP for when youre in the endgame.

Totally support your idea MTX. People are different. But hardcore guys might say - "You should work hard in any case". Oh i figured: "Oh, so none of you want to nolife? Well less active for server then. Your fault, CASUALS." Such a bunch of white-bearded gamers getting into the game to become part of it -we may say, but I hope you fellas are not that "pathetic". Do not abuse that opinion, please. To sum up, let's find smg well-suitable for both kind of players. And just chill already out a'ight?

Im very confused by what you just said. But of course, my main point is for the game to be for everyone. Not only for casuals or only hardcore players. And I guess thats what you wanted to say. I say freedom to all, happiness to all and frustration to noone (except for the people that frustration makes happy) Smile

Let players play at their own pace without punishment.

Yea you can fucking stop arguing already. Nothing will be changed no matter how many people bump this thread. Decisions are made by the Owner, and we already talked with him about this topic and there might or might not be something coming related to this.

So, Ive come back and checked the news on the forums. Does this: https://www.nfssa.com/thread-11378.html mean that the devs have actually taken up my idea and implemented it into the game? Seems so to me, and if it is true, it makes me very happy.

Id be very grateful for an explanation what this change actually did. Whether it narrowed the gap between winners' and losers' rewards (like I requested) or not. Gonna install MTA soon to test it out myself anyway, but any info beforehand will be appreciated.

The base rewards have been buffed considerably for 4th place, lower buff for 3rd, even lower for 2nd and very small for 1st place, which makes it so that instead of 1st place getting 4x the reward of 4th place (as it was before), 1st place gets about 2.4x the reward of 4th place (obviously can be tested in-game), because if we went with the same 4:1 ratio, 1st place would be getting insane rewards with 4th place getting the same rewards as now. However, higher place also gets a much higher bodypoint chance, which now also depends on total race distance, race type and track "difficulty". And on top of that, you get small buffs for race mode (quick/custom) and race types (especially sprints and speedtraps), all of which make the reward difference between old rewards and new rewards on a track with same settings higher than base reward buff says. Which also should be fair because sprints used to give almost nothing, not even talking about finishing last in them.

So you leveled the playing field, giving decent rewards to everyone while keeping slightly better rewards for first place? If so, its my dream come true. Finally it will be a normal game and not a hardcore "win or GTFO". But man, if I get 56 rep for 4th place in a 15 minute URL Ill be really mad Big Grin.
