About car lights, theoretically it should work fine but in practise we use auto-repairing car function that and because of weird GTA engine it messes up with such things and lights may randomly blink or something - didn't test it but some time ago there was something with it.

car lights would work properly, as you see the on state is ticked so it will be always turned on (maybe the lamp bug fix fixed it). Sure garage and shop lights would disappear but the circle marker is still there..

Looks ok imo - gives that NFS MW feel xd. Also what normal shop keeps the lights turned on in the daytime :p

I would love to see more choice in time and weather, but not necessarily a cycle.

given what Rarti shows, I say it looks good enough
not sure about evening time though, as enabling "Day Mode" really mess up the lighting on markers.

more like not, we need a bit of challenge...more things to learn about the car

nah, or we'll face a decent balance
e.g. imagine yourself on a potatoPC playing while storm, you'll immediately get -10 fps or even more
and yeah, while cornering nfssa-style it could affect handling badly on high speeds imo

Adding rain puddles can be done by yourself using ENBs. Check out the NFSSA discord, there's couple of nice screens made with them.
You went off topic but + for the free camera. Not necessarily needed but would be great to have.
