1. this will require a lot of time 'cause it needs to be modeled for each car separatly.
2. Safety cage in street racing? wtf? how is that even possible?

Why its not possible? Roll cage is normal part of performance tuning....

I didn't said that this is not possible.
For me it ruins a bit that "illegal(ish)" atmosphere of street racing.

Roll cage is not only for safe. It also makes car stiffness. You wrong thinking "roll cages ruins illegal atmosphere". There is also half roll cages for custom seatbelts. This half rollcages you can see in initial d cars.

Yup i'm with him, and many cars have roll cars, and many "illegal" cars have them ? Do you want to run 600hp+ cars with no safety mesure if a crash happens ?
Roll Cages are very common, even on the street racing scene, they save lifes, and they do look kind of cool.

Even tho' it would be a pain in the ass to model them all for each cars.

Ya know, that is only my opinion. You dont need to prove that im right or im wrong.

RE: Safety cage - Venom - 02-09-2016

Roll cages aren't very difficult to model, it mainly depends on quantity.

RE: Safety cage - Tomi - 02-09-2016
