Time trials

Since failing a time trial costs a lot of time (cooldown) and RP/money (almost 0 reward), I suggest to change the system, so that if you fail, there will be no reward and no cooldown and you can go again. Only after you win you will get the reward and the cooldown will start.

I can't agree, but I think it would be good to reduce cooldown time to 15-30min for loosers.

But if u don't want to lose time trial there is easy way. Pick up e or d class car with only tires installed, then u can easily win time trials on hard.

Well thanks for the tip, but I would prefer a clean fix for this situation rather than game abuse. Yet, that said, its all we can do until its fixed permanently.

I don't think that devs will change it anyways. Nfssa team don't like this type of changes :-D

Keep it as it is. Removing the cooldown to zero for failing will promote Tryharding. People will constantly trying three cities on hard on their horrible cars they are too lazy to level up with, resulting with less players available to find on lobbies. That's what i thought. Increasing the failed reward is still reasonable, it's unreasonably low currently. Picking hard difficulty is sort of a gamble where it depends on you that you will do a fuck up in the run or not, at least on later car classes or bigger scores although i don't really care about it since what i do is just go as fast as i can and pray for a toptime, but surely it bother others who are still on the grind.
Yes, easier difficulty exists but you don't really know if the hard difficulty would be actually hard or not since it's randomized, sometimes you can even have 20 seconds spare to finish, and it's always so tempting to pick hard difficulty.

This happened to me a couple of months ago:

I asked one of the devs about it, and here's what he said in response:

Though, I once had a situation where the game was giving me a complete different time for 2 stock B class cars on Ahtuba [R] (Sultan and Jester). The difference was like 40 seconds. Where one car would finish easily, the other one would not have a chance if there's a single mistake in the run. It's pure randomness, but it doesn't happen too often from my experience.

Stock Jester and stock SGT are almost impossible to controll w/o gamepad so it sometimes happens that u will get tt times like this Big Grin

But if u take max vintage car for tt u will get hard times to beat up, becouse vintage cars are hard to max out [shitty suspenssion] and are used mostly by veterans to get top times.

The worst cars (stock) from B in my opinion are SGT and ZR-130. First one because it was nerfed to shit and it likes to spin out like no other car, and the second one has (probably) the worst suspension in the game. Not even a Pro upgrade with dyno settings can make it decent. Jester in stock wasn't as bad from my experience, though I once sold that car because of the same suspension issues (bought it back some time later). Still, compared to ZR and SGT in stock, both cars (Sultan and Jester) are fine to control and if you'll be careful you can beat any Time Trial if there's enough time.
