When someone complains about having bad PC they go through darkest pages of the internet to improve the situation. If someone intends to abuse it, they don't fix anything, and use it as an argument for defense. Obvious which one it is in this case.

Raiyou and Blank not getting a permanent ban despite having multiple, when rules dictate that the first ban for exploiting is permanent, is purely because of weak management.

Alright, I won't even argue that 2013's celeron with integrated graphics can deal stable 60. Please, tell me, how do I do that? Because I tried everything I found. I would better die but wouldn't play at such torturing fps.

And this video was made just for fun, why tabbing is even an arguement?

he's also a pretty nice guy tho, so just give him a second chance.

respect ur opinion, but he has been trying those drag tops all time so it's not that ''accidentally'' anyways

didnt know, thanks

As the former holder of the top times on drags, I can assure you that Old Bridge Tops are the easiest ones, and when I was hunting the map, no exploits where necessary to achieve such times, appart from the low fps boost at start(which can be achieved naturally on bad pc's because this map is laggy as fuck, specially with 4 players on the lobby), so yeah, Old Bridge tops can be set "legitimately" with not a lot of effort other than luck(which is basically what drag is about).

Buuuuut, even if it's true that your pc can't handle the game at more than 30 fps, you wouldn't be able to beat tops on drag, even on a short track like old bridge, you would gain time with low fps at the start but would lose time on the rest of the track(assuming your fps would still be at 30's), so yeah, you would need the obvious boost low fps give on start and smooth 60 fps on the rest of the track, that's how most tops are set on drag.

And yes, tops on drags is a meme, they have been retarded since the early days of this server's life, this mode is shit and you only set tops on it if you wanna meme on the staff that quote "don't take top times seriously", and don't do shit to stop these kind of bullshit of happening in the server, nor do anything to dismotivate the abuse of exploits, because banning one or another is clearly doing wonders.
And of course not counting the players that can exploit as much as they want and the staff don't give a shit.

The way the staff handles this topic is fucking horrendous.

haha well fuck, what a disaster there a lot of opinions and i admit read almost all of these opinions was interesting but, hum nope my friend, if you do it one or two times i understead but if u do it a lot of times o boy there you got a problem and thats end in a ban, anyway maybe you can have a little bit of lucky and they short the time of the ban or remove the ban complety or maybe they leave you the ban until his expire anyway good luck with that boi.

Definitely trustable info coming from trustable person.

Periodic bad FPS can also be achieved naturally, you start with 30 FPS at start because there are opponent cars nearby and crowds is also quite performance demanding. But as the race goes the crowds will then despawn, you made it out of effective range of opponent cars rendering range and you get smoother gameplay.

If you feel like you have a good and possible solution then spit it out. Me myself had been pushing devs at some point when they refuse to work on balance, and only stands strong to the weak argument "this game/arcade can't be competitive" which all i can say, not entirely true. Trackmania is one of the most competitive driving based game for something very far from real. They also claim that game quirks (such as this FPS bulshittery) holds this game to be more competitive, and i refuse to accept that because even when everyone has same playing condition, one car is still better than the other, without game quirks involved.

That was totally different sibject, but man, i can't really do or find good reason to make me do the same in exploit property. Because there are currently simply NO feasible solution or ideas present. Remaking SA in 64 bit (or idk maybe a more reliable physics calculation engine) would be one but good luck with that because it will take very long and apparently taketwo is also against and willing to take down these kind of project.

Needless to say, the way you handled it by joining the exploiting scene explicitly and throwing away your credibility as a moderator is not a bright idea neither.

I'm being honest here, you can even have supra on muscle class as an comparison, we where competing back in the day on Old Bridge when Muscle was new, yourself can go there make a drag build and achieve such times.

But I mean, the way Fisp described his pc performance, I assumed his pc can't get the game over 30 fps, and I stated that if the game is constantly at 30 fps, he would lose time the longer the track goes, that's all.

I mean, the staff is not willing to have the effort to make their game competitively fair, so why care that much anyway, but there are inumerous ways this could be aproched, such as, instead of trying to fix the exploit directly, why not instead disable automatic system that sends times to the leaderboard and instead make a tool for validation of times, just like it is done in speedrunning? I have suggested this while talking to Matthew and he told me that no one is willing to have the work of moderating such thing, which is... yeah. Also since you mentioned Trackmania, after the recent cheating drama on the TM community a "competition patch" has been released and only times that are submited with the patch are allowed on the leaderboards, so yeah. Also also, there's this guy that have built an tool to record your performance in a track and it tracks every aspect that happens during the race in NFS Most Wanted (NFS Underground aswell), it is https://virtuallenge.com/ and you can even race against your ghost with this tool(and you can analise the run using the telemetry, I reported an short cut that didn't invalidate the run when used, and the dev fixed the short cut afterwards), the staff could come in contact with the dev and ask how he did his tool and maybe they could come up with an idea on how to bring this tool to MTA Racing, I talked with the WR Dev he is super chill, he probably would help on this regard.

Well, by the way I was treated by the other staff members back when I was moderator, I didn't really wanted the be a part of the staff anymore, I asked multiple times to be demoted peacefully, but even for that I was ignored, I found the recording exploit by accident while searching causes that would make other players be much faster than others(which was the drama of the time when Tross was beating every single URL by miles back in the day), so I imediately reported the issue, the staff chat was super active day one after the report, but then died for 2 months, and no one talked about the subject nor made a hint that something where being made to fix it, I decided that I didn't want to be a part of the staff anymore, but even demotion was neglected for me, so I just made a video, and surprisingly not 2 weeks later the exploit was fixed, and I got demoted(and banned), so I got what I want, to be out of the staff and the exploit to be fixed, back then it seemed the staff only worked under pressure, but it seens that's not the case anymore tsc. But this don't change the fact that the staff publicy stated that they don't care about the competitiveness of the server, but still does shit like this case on Fisp, and that's just hypocrite as fuck.

Yeah, you concluded it by yourself that manual submissions is indeed not a feasible solution. Making things submits manually creates an impractical barrier, not to mention that it will also means weekly toptime rewards mechanics will be invalidated as well. I am aware of the TM cheating things and their new what so called competitive build but i don't think the same method can be adapted here, if this stays at MTA platform that is. Also believe or not, that i am not really sure about it even myself since i only heard some bits of it but such telemetry data of certain runs (speed, rotation, fps, etc) are fetchable in NFSSA but they are like complicated. But its there. Problem is that, yeah, admitably, they "do not care" about the competitiveness that much to make most use of it.

In conclusion, they can't fix the game (yet, hopefully), so banning is a temporary solution. Banning one exploiter will just then we will eventually have another, but its still better than having both of them present at once. They don't care about competitivity doesn't equal that they don't enforce rules anymore. Punishments should keep rolling.
