Well u can leave classes, change stock car score and add new top times as different top time. there can be even 3 different type of top times: Class based, car based and all cars, and u dont need to change top time reward system, it will be just easier to get 50 top times

But in general good idea, balancing by changing score will affect races/urls but not top times. And if u add 2nd type of top times = per car. more players will use "slower" cars

I have idea how make URL easier for new players, add url race maps to standard race mode, under another section [call il race track or something, i suck at naming], why we shoud do that:
  • New players are joining URL without even knowing how maps look like, they can get some experiance if URL maps are avaliable at custom race. It will reduce Rage quite possibility, and experianced players will be little faster = they will get some points = they will do more url [ofc not all of them]
  • Better way to test your setups, we can test our setups on Dyno test track, but for most of players it is just waste of time, becouse u are not getting any rp/money. And we will get possibility to test LSAP tracks [freerun lsap sucks, becouse theres no walls]
  • Farming method for track guys, and other players that hate nfssa lambreaker
  • u can add more city race tracks in future, nfs prostreet / shift fans will be happy and this ^ guys ^ too
  • better top time rotation on URL maps, some of top times don't change after year even if they are easy to beat u can't do it becouse getting R map in URL is almost impossible
  • becouse theres no need for lampbeaker u can add POSSIBILITY  to turn on collisions [rammers and some of track guys will be happy] but don't make it permanent becouse i will hate u guys [and some other players too] xD
  • possibility to compare your times vs other players. [Reducing number of rage quit]
If u are thinking that is not NFS like, then remember NFS PROSTREET was the best NFS game ever made Big Grin

2nd option but noobs won't gain anything, only for pros Big Grin
Add LSAP version dyno track with walls ofc.
Add time counter on starting point in bayview [remember last time and best time] u can add this to lsap, but idk where, there is probably 1 point where most of maps is going through.

WELCOME TO MY GARAGE :3

I will post all my car setups/dynos that i will ever do here.


I do this because I want to make the game easier for players who can not cope with setting dyno, all sets should be easy to learn and at the same time good enough to win a few races and even do top of all times. But first a few words about my priorities when making setups:

  1. In case of url, I focus primarily on handling and cornering speed with minimal braking power, next is acceleration, and at end top speed. Of course you can not have acceleration without top speed.
  2. Setups designed for racing around the city focus on reducing the impact of curbs and other irregularities. The priorities are the same as for URL Handling> acceleration> Top speed.
  3. Suspension dyno in most cars will be high and soft to increase contact with surface, and to overcome high curbs.
  4. Brakes are set to prevent wheels from locking, and reduce excessive oversteer.
  5. Drift setups will have two options, one for high speed drifting, and one for slow score grinding.
  6. Tire pressure value is an approximate value, if you think that you can master the car at a lower pressure, reduce it, if the car slips too much for you, increase the pressure.
How setups will look like:
Engine: Upgrade level
Drivetrain: Upgrade level [Drivetrain setting]
Tires: Upgrade level [Tire pressure setting]
Suspension: Upgrade level [Stiffness setting ; Ride height setting ; Bias setting ; Steering angle setting]
Brakes: Upgrade level [Brake bias setting]
ECU: Upgrade level
Weight reduction: Upgrade level [Center of mass setting ; Downforce Setting]
Turbo: Upgrade level
NOS: Upgrade level
Results / screenshot [for tested url setups]

Upgrade level will be writen in nubers where 0 = stock, 1 = street, 2 = race, 3 = pro.
Dyno settings will be writen in [] using only nubers, suspension eg. [-10 ; +10 ; 0 ; +5]

If dyno settings are anavailable u will see [NULL]
Setups can be changed in future, always check CHANGELOG

To make setup easier to find, setups names will be in corresponding color according to legend:
  • Race
  • LSAP
  • Bayview
  • Drift
  • Speed Drift

The number of setups will increase slowly over time
