I mean, the staff is not willing to have the effort to make their game competitively fair, so why care that much anyway, but there are inumerous ways this could be aproched, such as, instead of trying to fix the exploit directly, why not instead disable automatic system that sends times to the leaderboard and instead make a tool for validation of times, just like it is done in speedrunning? I have suggested this while talking to Matthew and he told me that no one is willing to have the work of moderating such thing, which is... yeah. Also since you mentioned Trackmania, after the recent cheating drama on the TM community a "competition patch" has been released and only times that are submited with the patch are allowed on the leaderboards, so yeah. Also also, there's this guy that have built an tool to record your performance in a track and it tracks every aspect that happens during the race in NFS Most Wanted (NFS Underground aswell), it is https://virtuallenge.com/ and you can even race against your ghost with this tool(and you can analise the run using the telemetry, I reported an short cut that didn't invalidate the run when used, and the dev fixed the short cut afterwards), the staff could come in contact with the dev and ask how he did his tool and maybe they could come up with an idea on how to bring this tool to MTA Racing, I talked with the WR Dev he is super chill, he probably would help on this regard.

Yeah, you concluded it by yourself that manual submissions is indeed not a feasible solution. Making things submits manually creates an impractical barrier, not to mention that it will also means weekly toptime rewards mechanics will be invalidated as well. I am aware of the TM cheating things and their new what so called competitive build but i don't think the same method can be adapted here, if this stays at MTA platform that is. Also believe or not, that i am not really sure about it even myself since i only heard some bits of it but such telemetry data of certain runs (speed, rotation, fps, etc) are fetchable in NFSSA but they are like complicated. But its there. Problem is that, yeah, admitably, they "do not care" about the competitiveness that much to make most use of it.

In conclusion, they can't fix the game (yet, hopefully), so banning is a temporary solution. Banning one exploiter will just then we will eventually have another, but its still better than having both of them present at once. They don't care about competitivity doesn't equal that they don't enforce rules anymore. Punishments should keep rolling.
