Downforce

Ok, so some players already know about it, but Venom suggested about spoilers having a downforce stat or something like that. In my opinion that is a great idea since tuning is limited and this would add new possibilities  in the game. Yes, it sounds unbalanced but you can easilly add a certain disadvantage to this stat (eg. the higher the downforce stat the slower the car accelerates or maybe lower the top speed of the vehicle). I'm just saying that right now this would help people who want to tune their car better. And who knows it might bring in some new players. So what do you think?

OR maybe a new, additional kind of spoilers, performance spoilers. You drive to performance shop and there you pick a spoiler, this spoiler will slightly change the downforce/drag multipliers.

Or that. It's a great idea too.

There are some other ways to do similiar things as well. The list goes on and on.

Can't really tell my relation to this suggestion so far...
On the one hand it lets you having a bit more options with tuning, I like it...
but on the other hand it sorta ruins cosmetic purpose of the spoilers. I can already predict that at least 80% of the players won't bother about the way their car looks but improved stats.
Oh well, maybe it ain't so bad after all?

The point is to make it very balanced, though. You get an upgrade and a downgrade at the same time.

This idea could be ok, but with possibility to buy a spoiler (unlocks downforce adjustmemt) and eventually adjust it

I voted yes because it is a great idea in my eyes
Of course you have to put a limit to every car, a value at which it just starts spinning and sliding out if you put too much or too little downforce, so people don't just make 500km/h builds or cars that have 0 loss of traction
If these values are adjusted correctly, it could bring more flexibility to people who actually care, and those who don't can just use the spoilers as is, just for visuals

I mean, dyno tuning is coming too, so why not downforce too?

Well then, might be worth giving a try...
But still, if possible, I would appreciate it if "cosmetics only" and "stats affecting" spoilers would both exist and stay separated, cus who knows... (yeah, I know it's exactly what was offered in initial thread, hence why voting yes).

Body shop parts should remain visual only.
