Yeah, I can help with that.
I'll need to get myself a sound recorder first, though. They don't let cameras in at my work because of the F-16, and recordings from a phone are just plain crap.
So, if they go ahead with this idea, by all means hit me up so I can buy and use the thing.
Actually, I went through my archives looking for some video shot at any of the workshops I've worked in...
I did find one, but it's super weird. I think I was shooting this video to troll someone from the internet, I have that slight idea at least.
If it ain't it, I might have gotten high with the chemicals.
Or not. Sometimes I just gotta admit I'm a weird guy whose jokes are even weirder. I finally felt what's it like to be on the receiving end of my jokes.

Maybe with different context, maybe if I remembered.
But don't mind what I'm doing. The important part is the background noise! Recorded with a phone, but, genuinely, that's what a workshop sounds like!
So, in this 30 secs recording, the most evident noise to point out is of the random orbit sanders. Then there's voices of people that are almost screaming to make themselves heard through the noise, and some bangs from a hammer or something hitting the floor...
My idea would be to take each possible element on its own and mix them into a fabricated full lenght track that can be believable but not tiring to listen to.
