Literally copy pasting this from discord cuz lazy.

For the last time drift and speedtrap is not a terrible mode because its just is. those modes are fucked because the mechanism is not fine tuned enough. a good scoring system for drift and a fair penalty for late finish in speedtrap will make it more preferable to play.

Quickrace getting more checkbox and toggles and all shits so you will spend time configuring things (especially since those configuration resets everytime you reconnect) is just the opposite of that the mode supposed to be for being "quick"race. i agree that getting drift car on races and getting blista for drift is aids but there's a probably better approach to fix that

In underground you could literally use any car you wish for drift and be competent enough with it and nfssa should follow that. Making an FWD and AWD (AWD is sort of good enough as it is) having a good drift handling is possible from my own experiments, slight problem with NFSSA is that some parameters are tied to have same values as its race handling counterpart but there was discussion about bypassing it already so no biggie. Another problem is that the current drift scoring system favors more to a very stupid way to earn score so until a better scoring system is here (just literally add a speed bonus ffs NFSU also have this shit) the newer drift handlings will be as not competent as current RWD cars that is not tuned autistically by having least grip as possible.
